Question 1

Is there a master in international business taught in English in Lyon?

Accepted Answer

Yes. LIBS — Lyon International Business School — offers a 2-year Mastère in International Management taught entirely in English in Lyon. No prior French is required; free French classes run alongside the program.

Question 2

Is the LIBS Mastère an MBA?

Accepted Answer

No — and the difference matters. An MBA is typically designed for professionals with several years of work experience. The LIBS Mastère is a 2-year graduate program you join straight after a bachelor's degree, covering global strategy, international marketing, entrepreneurship and cross-cultural management, entirely in English.

International and French students holding (or completing) a 3-year bachelor's degree or equivalent. You request information, talk to an advisor, submit your application and receive any admission decision in writing before enrolling.

Question 4

Does LIBS help international students with the visa and arrival?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Concierge Desk guides admitted students through the student-visa procedure, housing search, bank account and onboarding in Lyon.

Question 5

What diploma is delivered?

Accepted Answer

Students are enrolled at École de Commerce de Lyon and receive the school's diploma, with a LIBS international specialisation. Exact terms are confirmed in writing before enrolment.
